MultiRes is a Windows application created to help you change the settings of your display. Using this program, you can easily adjust the screen resolution, the color depth and the refresh rate for your computer display.
When you first run the application, the “About” window will be automatically opened. It includes four radio buttons that allow the access to different options of the program.
Once the options are configured, the software will run only in system tray.
Despite the fact that MultiRes doesn’t come with a graphical user interface, this application is useful when it comes to adjusting different settings of your display. In addition, this small application has low system requirements. Changing your resolution, color depth or refresh rate is quite easy: just click on the tray icon, and the program menu pops out. It provides a list of all the available settings for your monitor.
An important feature of this program is the ability to change the settings of multiple displays at once. Similar to the “Display Properties” feature that is already familiar to Windows users, MultiRes is able to automatically detect the supported screen resolutions and other settings of your monitor.
